Rev. Rose James

Reverend James, a servant of God, is a long-time member of the Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, Wilmington, DE, and currently serves as an Associate Minister. She also currently serves in various leadership positions and is an active member and participant of various other Ministries at Rock of Ages Missionary Bapt. Church. As a Missions Worker and Co-laborer, I also serve as an Executive Board Member of the Women’s Auxiliary to the United Bapt. Convention of DE, Inc. serves as an Executive Board Member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the New England Missionary Bapt. Convention. She also serves as an active member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Bapt. Association –DE. Rev. James has been a long-time personal advocate in and for

Education & Scholastic Achievements. She was a long-time educator of thirty-five plus years & is a retired Educator of the public schools of NJ.

Rev. James was called into and licensed for the ministry in 2003. In 2009, Rev. James was set apart and ordained to the work of the Gospel Ministry and is currently serving at the Rock of Ages Missionary Bapt. Church, Wilmington, DE, under the current Pastoral Leadership.

Rev. James has a passionate love for the Lord, has a passion for doing the work of the ministry, and is incredibly humbled & honored to be a proclaimer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and a Servant for the “cause of Christ.”  Several of her favorite scriptures are Psalm 91:1; “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty & Gal. 2:20a, b; “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” One of her favorite hymns is “Blessed Assurance,” & her favorite words of praise are “Hallelujah, Blessed is the Name of the Lord.”
